Kickboxing & Krav Maga

Kickboxing is an explosive and energetic sport that can be considered a hybrid of various martial arts including Tae KwonDo, Karate, Kung Fu and Muay Thai, that combines elements of kicking and punching. Kickboxing improves self esteem, confidence and self discipline and stimulates the mind to develop inner strength, endurance, flexibility and co-ordination, with a large emphasis upon accuracy, speed and agility.

Freestyle Kickboxing focuses on the concept of being able to strike and move from your target effectively with out getting hit. Within our programme we introduce the principles of contact points sparring, with semi-contact enforced with all beginners.

We also teach the effective Israeli military self defence system Krav Maga. Krav Maga is known for its focus in real life situations. A beginner extensively covers the 10 most common street attacks. Once you have mastered these techniques more difficult scenarios are designed to build a support system that will enable you to deal with almost any situation. Awareness, avoidance and pre-emption are placed high in order of priority.
